Now that I’m in Pasadena, we finally hit up Pie And Burger. Place is a time warp and Eastside sister to Apple Pan. Pretty good if you’re craving that old school griddle taste and vibe. But it’s pricey $7-8 for a solid but unmemorable burger – like spending $30 for pinot noir that doesnt taste much better than the $15 bottle. At that point, I’m leaning towards the value and virtues of In and Out.
